ThatPlay provides the tool. You control the content. This page explains where the line runs.

Your responsibility

You decide which lawful material you analyse and are responsible for having the necessary rights, permissions and lawful basis for it.

• match and training video
• player information and player numbers
• tactical notes, observations and comments
• reference material and third-party video links
• Reviews, Comparisons and exported coaching material

Our responsibility

ThatPlay is responsible for its own processing: platform security, account handling, access controls, data subject rights and appropriate handling of data stored in ThatPlay Cloud. Your responsibility for content does not remove ours.

Local video

Original local video files are not uploaded to ThatPlay Cloud. We store your analysis, plus a device-local reference if you ask us to remember the file. Deleting an account or forgetting a video never deletes your original file.

Sharing and exporting

When you export a PDF or PowerPoint, or present a Review, the material leaves ThatPlay's control. Make sure you have the right to share the included material, especially where identifiable individuals appear.

Minimising personal data

ThatPlay is built so you can analyse effectively without identifying players: a player number and position are enough. ThatPlay is not intended for medical, health or biometric data, and we do not offer facial recognition or automatic identity detection.
